#Indigenous Participation

As part of its commitment to Indigenous Participation, BESIX Watpac is proud to be taking part in the DIZ Footprints program, a trainee and mentorship program for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students who are interested in gaining skills and experience in the construction industry.

Working with our delivery partners, seven students commenced the program in March 2022 and attend site each week. The program will build career pathways in the construction industry and provide them with the skills and experience they will require for any future opportunities within the industry.
