Sophisticated and sustainable scientific facility

Located within Macquarie University's emerging hearing precinct, the Cochlear Global Headquarters accommodates 1,250 employees within a seven-storey building. The development has provided a new A-grade commercial office building, including a fully integrated fitout incorporating manufacturing space, warehouse storage, and administration and breakout spaces. A number of sustainability features include a low energy building design, rainwater harvesting, energy efficient mechanical systems and lighting and optimisation of natural light. The building achieved a 4 Star Green Star rating, featuring a 4.5 Star NABERS rating, as a testament to both the project’s and our environmental commitments.
