Sjoerd Reijnaars

Technical Manager

#Dynamically different

Welcome to Sjoerd Reijnaars who joins BESIX Watpac as Technical Manager. Hailing from the Netherlands, Sjoerd brings his knowledge gained through delivering complex civil and industrial projects internationally to our Kangaroo Point Green Bridge project.

With over 13 years of experience in the construction sector, Sjoerd's passion for collaborative creation has only broadened over the years.

"The construction sector is dynamic, and you always work on different projects, with different people and cultures under different circumstances. This sector is all about teamwork. Everyone who enters the sector starts from junior rank and rises according to merit. So there is a lot to learn and you can develop yourself during your career as long as you take initiative and show that you are a team player.”

“What is first an idea, a thought, a problem or a sketch on paper from a client, we can turn it, with our creativity and technical solutions, into something tangible like a bridge or building.”
