Katie O’Malley

Katie joined BESIX Watpac in 2021 as Group Corporate Affairs Manager and leads a team of marketing, communication, and sustainability specialists. She oversees and supports the business with ESG, Government relations, Indigenous participation and workforce development and training. Through the BESIX Watpac Community Fund, she is focused on establishing meaningful community partnerships to create legacy in the areas where BESIX Watpac operates.

With a background in design, media and publishing, Katie transitioned into the industrial sector and has over a decade of experience. She has a degree in Visual Communication and Design from Victoria University in New Zealand, a Post Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Griffith University, a Diploma of Management and Marketing with the Australian Institute of Management and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Foundation Course. She is a current Board Member of the Australian Constructors Association.
