Johan Beerlandt

Johan Beerlandt is Executive Vice-Chairman of BESIX Group. With extensive expertise in the international contracting sector, he joined BESIX Group in 1974 and has overseen the delivery of major projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Under his leadership, BESIX has grown from a traditional civil and building construction company to a multi-disciplinary contractor in 25 countries. Johan is a Director of the Management Board of the Belgian Federation of Enterprises (FEB-VBO), a Member of the Advisory Board of ING Bank and Chairman of the Arab Belgian Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce. He has a Masters of Civil Engineering and Architecture from the University of Ghent in Belgium and completed the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School.
