Andrew Fraser

Andrew was appointed to the BESIX Watpac Board of Directors in January 2020 and brings extensive directorship experience to the company. He is a Chair of Orange Sky and Motorsport Australia; Director at Australian Retirement Trust and Brisbane Broncos; Deputy Chancellor at Griffith University; and Vice-President FIA Environment & Sustainability Commission. Andrew was the former Chair of Sunsuper, has been heavily involved in rugby league across NZ and Australia, and held ministerial positions in two Queensland governments, including Treasurer from 2007 to 2012 and as the State’s youngest Deputy Premier in 2011. A graduate of Griffith University, Andrew has a First-Class Honours Degree in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce and won the University Medal.
